Michael Jacket — Aubergine Linen Twill — Limited Edition

The crown of our aubergine wardrobe. The Michael Jacket takes the full language of tailoring — double-breasted front, peak lapels, flap pockets, buttoned cuffs — and cuts it from a deep, wine-dark linen twill. The diagonal weave gives the linen real body and a subtle surface texture, so it holds a tailored line beautifully while staying naturally cool and breathable — a blazer with true summer manners.

But the real secret lives in the back. In place of a conventional panel, we insert a back knitted to size — a signature of our tailoring and part of our house DNA. Knitted specifically for the garment rather than cut from cloth, it flexes with every reach and turn, giving a tailored jacket the ease and comfort of a cardigan without losing an ounce of its structure.

Worn with the matching aubergine linen trousers it becomes a suit of quiet drama; over the tone-on-tone corset, something bolder still.

Designed and made in Italy in a true limited edition of no more than 10 pieces. Tailoring like this — part sartorial, part knitwear, entirely ours — is made in small numbers or not at all.
