The Italian job
From the start, the heart of POAN was Florence. Our clothes are cut and sewn in Italy, in small, often family-run workshops we know by name. That is how we know the quality, and how we know the work is done in good conditions.
Chapter IIIIEnvironmental
Less, by design
We make small runs, often around ten pieces of a style, the minimum our workshops will cut. We cut and pattern by hand, rework leftover cloths from the industry and our own stock into new pieces, and our packaging is reused in the house and recyclable.
Chapter IIIIIIEthical
No fur. No leather. No feathers.
POAN loves animals, and our founder is vegetarian himself, so no fur, leather or feathers ever go into a POAN piece. Our leather is vegan, sprayed by hand to a smoky olive.
