The smoking jacket first appeared in the 1850s, inspired by an informal lounge belted robe, and was primarily worn for men's leisure activities such as cigar smoking.

ASSEMBLY
We use a ‘dry to the hand’ viscose yarn of the highest quality, sourced and produced in Italy. The Back, Front and Sleeves are knitted with the finest german engineered technologies creating shapes ergonomically fitted to the body, allowing the best comfort whilst maintaining a structured style for a formal dress code.
WHATS SPECIAL/FINISHING
The front shawl collar is classically fashioned in deep and front panel made in our yarn dyed 120’s biellese twill wool.The Jacket is structured on shoulder pads and chest stiffening interior, half lined in our worth mentioning screen printed ink splatter viscose twill signature lining. Assembled by a specialised tailoring house in Tuscany, the Noir Smoker Jacket is finished to the highest standards and finest details.
FINISHING
Our ‘knitweave’ DNA brings together the best of Italy’s craftsmanship tradition in knitting and weaving, purposefully applied on our Noir Smoker Jacket to obtain the best finishing touches.
Fabric Composition
Our label is stitched in by hand in a japanese quilting technique for each garment to ensure its authenticity.

No fur, leather or feathers have been used in the making of this product in line with our cruelty free policy. The 120’s Twill Wool and its yarn used by us for knitting by Tg die Fabio from Biella has a RWS certification.
